October’s here, and so is that sudden craving for something cosy.

The light changes, the mornings get chillier, and everything starts to feel a bit softer, a bit slower. It’s the time of year when layering becomes second nature, and we start reaching for the pieces that make us feel warm — not just physically, but emotionally too.

Here’s what to expect this October, plus a few dates to mark on your calendar (and maybe your wardrobe too).

What’s trending this month?

Colour-wise, October leans into:

• Deep greens and rusty reds
• Burnt oranges and soft, muted browns
• Shades that feel like walking through autumn leaves

Scarves in these tones are easy to style — throw one over a denim jacket, a trench, or layered under a blazer. And textures matter now too: soft brushed cottons, lightweight weaves, or anything that catches the light as the sun gets lower.

  A gentle reminder to slow down and take care of yourself.

  Whether you embrace it or not, it’s a chance to bring out bold prints or subtle pops of pumpkin.
